Our Client

The Jewish Federations of North America represents 153 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities, which raise and distribute more than $3 billion annually for social welfare, social services and educational needs.

Our Role

The JFNA approached us for a complete redesign of their content management system, FedWeb, that allows Federations and communities to build custom websites tailored to their individual needs. We handled research and discovery, information architecture, UX and visual design.

Control Panel

FedWeb includes a feature-rich control panel with a drag-and-drop page builder, asset and member management, and a moderation and notification system for administrators and content managers. All content is managed in a simple outline format that automatically generates website navigation.

Responsive Page building

A page builder starts with a variety of template options. All pages created are fully responsive, making them tablet and mobile friendly without having to touch a line of code.

Style Guide

A collection of consistent interface elements are used throughout the system.

We designed several fully responsive themes for FedWeb, with simple color palette settings up to full CSS control. The themes share a consistent code-base, but have unique designs, allowing Federations to switch between them and customize the look-and-feel while keeping their sites intact.
