BMI is the largest music rights organization in the U.S., representing more than 8.5 million musical works created by more than 600,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers. One of the first ever music industry websites, bmi.com supports thousands of songwriters, while also providing industry news, artist features and video clips.
Eric was the full-time Web Designer and Editor for BMI from 1999 to 2008. Our studio continues to work with the company handling design, UX consulting and web development. Projects have included email newsletter design, logo design, user interface design, ExpressionEngine development and mobile design.
In 2013 we worked with BMI on a redesign of the website, creating early mockups and concepts that would eventually be carried through to the finished product.
Songwriter101 was a secondary website created with BMI covering everything about the business side of the songwriter's profession - information, education, and the accumulated experience of music business professionals.
We handled a redesign of the resource, as well as ExpressionEngine development for the site that includes articles, FAQs and a forum.
BMI’s benefits and discounts program, called Platinum Privileges, needed a new logo. We designed the logo for use on the BMI website and in print ads.
