Eric Miller Design Nominated for Webby Award
My personal photo site, myterritory.com, was nominated for a 2008 Webby Award in the personal website category. Established in 1996, the Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member body of leading web experts. We are honored to have received the nomination, as a Webby is known as one of the leading awards honoring websites, interactive advertising, online film and video, and mobile work. Members of the academy, who include David Bowie and Internet inventor Vint Cerf, choose the nominees as well as the Webby Award winners. Anyone can vote for a second honor, The People’s Voice Award, so if you want to show your support for Eric Miller Design visit the Webby site and vote for myterritory.com.
My Territory was created as a way to share my enormous collection of photos with family, friends and other visitors. It features customizable personal pages for members, an integrated Google map to browse by location and multiple ways to sort through photos including by who was at the event, the type of event it was and when it happened.
